it's the small things that count.

first of all, im a sucker for cheesy quotes...ecspecially when they relate to something that i hold dear to my heart.
ie:
"before all the self help books, people had horses."
"daughter, when you were little your smile melted my heart....and it still does."
"be yourself, everyone else is taken"
"fear is the heart of love"
"stay classy"
"trust yourself, you know more than you think you do"
"someday someone will walk into your life and you'll realize why it never worked out with anyone else....he's yours"

i thought i had just found about all the cutest quotes you could possibly find from google, magazine, friends, books, billboards etc. but i was wrong. very very wrong.
my dear friend lyn jensen, who i did an internship with, gave me this delightful book called, "saying it like it is" by sheri dew
its
amazing
<3
she gave it to me at the perfect time...isn't that how everything seems to always work out? you learn the best lessons when you seem to need it the most.

so many quotes in their are the best. its hard to just choose one.
“no amount of time in the mirror will make us as attractive as does having the Holy Ghost”

" the only way to be happy is to live the gospel, it is not possible to sin enough to be happy. it isn't possible to buy enough to be happy, or to entertain or indulge or pamper ourselves enough to be happy. Happiness and joy come only when we are living up to who we are."

I'm a sucker for good quotes, too, Lex. I haven't seen that book by Sheri Dew- I'll have to check it out. ;)
