We had the opportunity this weekend to have a clinic at our barn given by Nathan Salamy. Nathan is a top national trainer from Tennessee. He helped us at nationals and has quite a few U.S. and Canadian national titles under his belt. He was the nicest guy (not to mention quite charismatic with a heavenly accent) and a wonderful teacher. He helped me and my horses out tremendously. Saturday, I was done with all my lessons but just hanging out at the barn for the day, watching other lessons, and listening to his clinic. He had a little time before his next lesson, and asked to jump on Bambi for a quick ride. I was so excited! Bambi was great and such an angel. It was so informational and a wonderful experience. Not to mention that i got to spend the whole weekend with my horses and barn family. it was exactly what i needed.
