my dear friend Sammie and her husband Phil (as of an hour ago) are now married and sealed for time and all eternity. how happy i am for them and i cannot wait to see her tonight, in all her glory, dressed in her gown. last night, richard and i attended her wedding dinner at the JS Building, enjoyed time with friends, and i of course, got a little emotional. i have to admit, it was a bit surreal and had me thinking all night what it will be like come june 7th when i am headed to my own wedding dinner....makes me excited. {june can't come fast enough.} sammie and phil both looked blissful last night, a happy couple indeed and i am so thrilled for them both. they deserve each other. little did i know that her "barn date dance" who was a little on the wild side, would be joining her at the alter on the 16th of February. In the short time that i have known Sammie, we've grown together and bonded. i still remember sitting in her car, chatting about boys and what it will be like when we finally find a guy who deserves us just as much as we deserve them. we seemed to keep each other going as she and i both went through the ups and downs of dating. she taught me to reach out of my comfort zone, act like Kesha at dance parties (she knows the true meaning of "dance like no one is watching" literally) and is always the life of the party, with about a million boys following behind her, hoping for a chance just to say hi to the "blonde goddess" i look forward to so many more memories and adventures with her and phil (married friends..yay!) it was especially nice to see Brittany and Chelsea last night too. They looked beautiful and very happy. It was good to be back in there presence, laugh with them, and reminisce on all the good times. thanks to my sweet richard for shooting our photo op...including his action shots. love you.

best of luck to sammie and phile! we love you!
xoxo
