ENGAGED TO A HANDSOME MAN

ENGAGED!!!

I'm not sure how to write this post without breaking into sweet sobs, but luckily i am in the comforts of my own home, and i can cry all that i want too. my heart is full and i only wish i could express
how truly grateful i am for so many things....
 today, February 12, 2012 has
been one of the best days ever.
How i was able to luck out and get the opportunity to meet, date and now MARRY such a wonderful man is beside me, but I will be forever grateful.
that's right. i said...THE "M" word.
most of you have probably known for quite some time that the wedding was happening (JUNE 8TH to be exact) but today, it is finally official!
...Here's my cute fiance!!...

the morning was absolutely perfect. i couldn't have asked for it any other way
it was beyond what i could have ever imagined and perfect in every way
i always imagined how i would react when the big question was popped
but it was a whirlwind of emotions for me and i wasn't expecting any of them
i wanted to scream, cry, burst, scream some more, and so much more
---
richard told me saturday night that he would be picking me up on sunday
morning at 9:45.
i needed to be dressed warm, ready to go, with my snow boots on. I tried not to get my hopes up, justified his sunday morning drive as a hike, and tried not to think about the proposal.
He picked me up and i was a ball of nerves. We headed up the canyon, snow falling hard and a cop
waiting for us at the mouth of the canyon. They were rejecting people with smaller cars but luckily we were in the truck.
We drove on up, the roads were surprisingly clear and we stopped at "Dead Nun's Pass." (the same spot he had asked me to be his girlfriend...awww)
I had butterflies, a little shaky, and still pushing down my hopes
As we headed up, I of course tripped (UGGS have the worst snow traction, might i add) we made our way to a little ledge that looked down onto a river, you could see the waterfall and all around us was beautiful white snow. It couldn't have been any prettier...
before i knew it, he was down on one knee and i was beaming
....

big thanks to our dear friend Austin Schults for filming the engagement and taking all these pictures
it meant so much to Richard and I

this was right after we got back from the canyon...excuse us. it was snowing, we were a little wet AND overcome
with an overwhelming happiness and relief

Purple hydrangeas...my favorite!!

...
and just because, here is my pretty ring

i thank everyone for there love and support
much love
more importantly, thanks to a handsome man named Richard Snow...the day was perfect, i love my ring but love you even more
can't wait to spend eternity with you

xoxo
