Revoir 2011, Bonjour 2012

saying goodbye to 2011 and welcoming in 2012...crazy how it all comes so fast. 2011was a year full of good things, and it delights me to think of all that this new year has in store. two thousand and twelve is bound to be unforgettable. 2011 brought new experiences (camping, rock climbing, scuba diving, just to name a few) trials, lessons (ie: don't attempt to jump down a rock wall when you know you already don't have that strong of ankles) a new love, new school, memorable trips, new family, horse shows, wins and losses, and most importantly, memories made that i'll never forget.

we rung in the new year at my house with good friends, laughs, and a kiss to start the year off right. (not too mention we all tried to stay awake, but someone just couldn't keep their eyes open...)

(I don't blame him though, he had a long week)

As Christmas break comes to a close, I dread going back to school and saying goodbye to no homework, no stress, & no tests. However, my time away from school provided me with lots of family time, tubing, temple square, riding (yes! i can finally ride now) working, spending time with "big poppa snow" and reading my book (which i am glued to currently, The Dovekeepers by Alica Hoffman, it's guaranteed to blow you away)

Before we left for Mexico, the Snow's and I took a trip to temple square to see the lights..thanks JR for taking such candid shots ;)

by far my favorite

Christmas was lovely, full of family and food. Richard got me the coolest purple yoga mat! i can't wait to try it out. the day after christmas, we spent the evening in Midway, tubing and trying not to freeze to death...it was fun to hang out with all the cousins and in the new house!

By far the best thing 2011 brought (besides a very handsome man, obviously) was a new familly. I can't express enough gratitude to the Snow's for all the love and support they continually show me. not only did i have a wonderful family to begin with, but now i have another one! like a perfect double stuff oreo.  am i a lucky girl or what?
in the end, family is all that really matters. as life and people change, they are the one constant. as i grow up, i realize this more and more everyday. and as a result, the more thankful i am for each and every day for the people in my life that are always there, no matter what.

2012 is bound to be a memorable year..............just you wait and see.........
xoxo
