i made the worst mistake ever and forgot to bring my camera cord to Georgia, therefore i can't upload photos that i have taken...it really peeves me. regardless, Georgia has been a wonderful experience and i am so thankful for the opportunity to be here!
speaking of being thankful, i am most thankful for the people in my life.
i'm also thankful to be a daughter of God. to belong to such an amazing church and have a father in heaven in that loves me, no matter what.
i'm also thankful for the world's best parents. i don't know what i would do without them. their little girl is growing up and i know it's hard for them, but they need to know that i will always be their little girl. thanks for always encouraging me and letting me make my own choices AND (this is random) but thanks for once upon a time giving me a Barbie Jeep. I was talking to Richard about that today and it made me think of all the many wonderful memories i had in that Jeep....what little girl wouldn't want to cruise around in a pink barbie jeep with her red wagon attached to it, filled with dolls, pretending to drive through the drive through window, grabbing a diet coke and then jetting off to visit my alcoholic husband who was either in rehab or jail but not before dropping my dolls off stay with my dad. so thanks, thanks for letting me have so many good times in the jeep. oh how i miss it so...best christmas present ever. hands down.
i'm thankful for my grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles who have always been there for me. my cousins have stepped in and played the role of my siblings.... i'm also thankful for my great grandma, Nanna, who passed away 2 years ago. this year, I have been especially missing her. I only wish she was still around to go shopping with, take to lunch and above all, meet Richard. I know she would have loved him.
i'm thankful for the new family that I have met and been welcomed into with open arms...The Snow Family. I can't thank JR and Laura enough for the countless dinners, laughs and family prayers. (you'd just have to be there to understand that one) im grateful to Debbie and the rest of the family in Georgia for letting me spend this holiday with them. they are all so kind, humble and welcoming. The best part (scary part for Richard) is the fact that Debbie and i were dressed quite similar yesterday. We both sported our MK bags, leopard sweaters and watches.... talk about two hip ladies... :)
i'm thankful for my friends, barn friends, and my trainer.
i'm thankful for my home, car and the opportunity to get an education.
and i'm thankful for Richard.
(It just wouldn't be a suitable blog post if i didn't gush about him for a moment)
i'm thankful for having the best boyfriend and best friend a girl could ask for. his continued support, humor, kindness, faith, encouragement, and optimism keeps me going. it's already been 7 blissful months and time has flown by... it seems like just yesterday we started dating. from his singing and witty banter, to his harassment and knowledgable advice, i love every minute of it. if only i could write down half the things that he says, which usually me want to pee my pants from laughing so hard. thanks for letting me fart, but only on thursdays, thanks for letting me vent to you and thanks for making me step out of my comfort zone ie: eating hot dogs, listening to metal music, weird movies, camping, introducing me to zombies and shooting guns.
who would've thought the girl you met in Dee's a year ago would be with you in Georgia a year later celebrating Thanksgiving?
i hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. i'm sad that it's already Friday, this trip has gone by too fast. love to all....
xoxo

AH THE BARBIE JEEP. Some of the best memories. I am laughing so hard right now remembering you and your alcoholic, jailed, husbands...I think we played that game a lot? Whichever game it was.
