haunted forest

Last night, Richard planned a wonderful group date with some of our closest friends. 

We started the night at Goodwood BBQ. We laughed & enjoyed delicious food. My friend Sammie, and her boyfriend Phil, were able to join us which was so delightful! I haven't seen Sammie in the longest time. 

I loved hearing all her stories and catching up on her exciting life. 

After dinner, we made our way out to American Fork to the 'Haunted Forest.'

It was indoor/outdoor...really cool scenery, and a little spooky in some parts. 

I have to admit, I was a little skeptical walking in, but surprisingly I had a blast. 

(HINT: It helps when you are holding on to the hand of cute guy that is giggling the whole time. lightens the mood.)  

Everyone had a wonderful time, even Arica and Phil who both had to be bribed to go.

Sadly, we didn't get a group picture, all 10 of us. 

however, richard and i got a cute picture...the background is the "honey bucket" porta potties. oh how lovely.

we kind of like each..i guess.

Richard informed the WHOLE table last night that him and I were going to be a king and queen for halloween. but not just any regular, throw a crown on, and go kind of king and queen. we would need help collecting wood for a large dining room table, chairs, and a massive turkey. 

naturally, we would sit at the table, dressed in our costumes and each gnaw on a drumstick...

hahahahahaha

if only you could have seen my expression.

i was unaware about these halloween plans. not sure how either one of us will attend any parties or gatherings in these outfits...so if anyone wants to see us on halloween, you'll have to come to us. we will be immobile....and ill be gnawing on a drumstick. 

never a dull moment i tell ya... makes me love him so much more than i already do.
