2011 show season is officially over.

what a wonderful season it was. Bambi and I have never done so well. compared to 2010, it was like night and day.
all those many lessons and tears have finally paid off. We've had a long road
but oh boy, it was well worth it.
i never thought a horse could teach me so much...not only about myself, but life in general. i will be forever grateful for her. i know it may sound crazy, but two years ago, she came into my life for a reason. i was at the lowest point i had ever been, so many changes and a little lost. she was exactly what i needed. i can't imagine my life without her now. i love you ms Abi Tanni Bask
Storm didn't come to the show this weekend ):
i missed having him there...it was weird not having to juggle showing two horses.
BUT
Bambi and I had a wonderful 3 days. made great accomplishments and it was a wonderful break from school. i did well at staying calm, not getting too worked up, and loved seeing all my horsey friends.
Richard, Austin, Nick and my dad all came friday night to watch me ride in my AAOTR class.
(i was only up against one other girl, placed second but felt that i had a fabulous ride. i rode against my friend Ali so im glad she won..no Richard, we don't need to go beat her up ;) I was so happy to have them there (muzz was out of town, my first show ever without my show mom! but i survived. we missed you muzzy)

news, inspirations, and looking forward too's:
1) my mom comes home today from California, i am excited to see her and so is my dad. (i think he has missed having a pal, since i have rarely been home) plus he's finished his weeks worth of chicken & spinach salad (compliments of Costco)
2) FALL
it's finally starting to cool off and I can't wait to wear my new (divine) black leather boots. i am keeping them pristine in my closet until it's finally appropriate to wear them. i may just break them out this weekend...
not only boots but cardis, SCARVES, and long sleeve shirts!!
3) "like crazy"
Can't wait to see this!
4) my man is hotter than yours
5) have i mentioned how happy i am lately?
6) ok, ok, i need to get going on homework and stop babbling on what is now, an extremely long blog post. i have slightly actually no in a big way neglected school work this weekend. back to reality...
