what a week.
i have to apologize (especially to my parents) for being a grump. needless to say, i might not have always been the most pleasant person to have been around.
luckily, the weekend rejuvenated me & i am pumped for a new& fresh week at school
the weekend started thursday, (no school on friday's for westminnies' yahhoo)
I was able to fit in a couple hours at the barn friday riding my ponies. I had two wonderful lessons, both of the horses were phenomenal!!! Storm and Bambi are the best kind of therapy when you've just had "one of those weeks" when nothing seems to go right.
Muzz and i had a wonderful little girls' weekend...daddy-o left town to golf with his cousin. It was fun to spend time with her, go to lunch, do some shopping, and make a trip to good old IFA (for the horses)
Major and i had lovely study sessions...such a sweet boy he is, always watching over me..
and these...
kept me going.
they are my favorite candy in the whole wide world
(not good. i could eat a whole box if i really wanted too)
play time?
Friday night, i met some friends for dinner and hung out at my friend shelby's house afterwards. It was lovely to catch up with those two wonderful girls and old friends too.
They are growing up so fast, they make me feel old. It's crazy to watch them go through high school, attend dances, hear their crazy boy stories, and all the other crazy/insane/dramatic scenarios that unfortunately come with those 3 treacherous years of high school...ugh. makes me so grateful for college.
saturday, muzz and i ran errands, (she decided to go see THE HELP....ALONE, i might add (which makes me sad) she didn't want to bother me while studying. please just imagine debra russell sitting in a theatre ALONE with her diet coke and popcorn...maybe im just weird, but it makes me sad!)
according to her, she had a blissful time..so i guess that is all that matters. bless her heart
saturday night, i headed to the Snow's for the U game. Richard and I enjoyed time with JR and Laura, then headed to our friend Dustin's house to finish the second half of the game...GOOD GAME UTES. they kicked butt woo woo
besides the UTES winning, watching JR pound on the ceiling with a broom (communicating to the neighbors) when they would make a touchdown was just another highlight to a wonderful night.
Thank you guys for having me over!
so far, my sabbath has been lovely. Richard and I attended church (most of it at least) and as for tonight, i currently have a date with my math book. test on tuesday..ughhh.
i could poke my eyeballs out...that's just how much i despise math.
but, in
richard's words..."it could be worse...you could have butt cancer."
so thank you dear, for making me look on the bright side.
it definitely could always be worse...
speaking of looking on the bright side, it's been chilly these past couple nights, but im not complaining. i love fall. the crisp air and everyone seems to gain some pep in their step, more lively. not too mention fall fashion..boootss and coats!! eeeeeee
AND
halloween, thanksgiving etc.
i can't wait for the holidays.
---
obsessed much?
- "the sweetest occasion" (a blog i currently stalk) posted a current bridal shoot, done at a castle, with a gorgeous white horse. i don't think it could get any better than that....
love love love
-secondly,one day, i will have a picture just like this in front of the Eiffel tower. what girl doesn't?
(from the blog: Barby with a Y Bytch)
- listen too Lady Antebellum's new album. it is close to perfection. her song, "we owned the night" is so catchy. even if you don't care for country that much, take a listen, cause you just might be surprised.
au revoir my sweet friends.
have a safe
and happy weeek
xoxo
