has been
one heck
of
a summer
St. George with the parents started it off right, followed by many lovely dates with a handsome man, Region 8 in Denver, and the Howard Franklin horse show in July. A weekend getaway with the girls to saint george, countless riding lessons, hikes, swimming, photoshoots, catching rays, shopping, breakfast with muzz, working the Nordstrom sale, blogging, PC coaster, T-pain, Tim McGraw, a wonderful trip to Texas, temple, and family...it ended with a glorious trip to Vegas, and lastly, staying with one of my best friends, Lizzy, while her parents went out of town.
this summer definitely tops the list of past summers'. i had so many amazing experiences and opportunities these past couple months, that i am so thankful for. i am have so many people to give thanks to because they helped make it so wonderful.
yesterday, my friend shelby and i, were reminiscing about all the fun things we had done and experienced...she pointed out where we both were this time last year.... as i started to think about it, i realized how much i have grown as a person and learned about myself. trusted more and worried less (yes, if you can believe that) it's crazy how life all seems to work out. this time last year, i was uncertain about my decision to not attend USU, and uneasy about starting at the community college. a huge blessing was when my cousin Rachel, encouraged me to join a sorority. luckily, the day i called, was the same day they were holding RUSH. i seriously lucked out on that one. college wouldn't have been half the experience that it was without KAPPA. Today, some of my best friends, are my fellow Kappa sisters. I couldn't be more grateful for that experience and the friendships (and relationship ;) that were made.
as school approaches, i start to dread it less and less. school shopping with muzz definitely helped make it a little more appealing...
call me crazy, but i am immensely looking forward to wearing fall clothes. besides that, i am crazy exctied for the new experiences that await me at Westminster. greatly looking forward to the challenge, new people, and new atmosphere...bounchickawowow. it will be grand :)
memorable moments:
xoxo
