&&& i am loving every moment of it. as i type this blog post with elsa perched on my knee, telling me stories of her fabulous life, i realize how thankful i am for the so many wonderful people in my life. my family, boyfriend, friends, dogs and my horses. i wish i could bottle this feeling all up and save it for the days when you forget how lucky you really are. we all (well maybe not all, but i sure do) seem to loose sight of what really matters.....get so worked up over the small stuff and loose the big picture.

It is so fun to have the kids from Texas here...I love all the noise, (i know, i am crazy) the funny things i get to hear drew saying/screaming in the morning, and the constant harrassment from all the men around me. yes, i probably am insane.
but i just love them so much.
they are like my own siblings too me.

it is going to be a grand week. can't wait for friday...each day i become less and less nervous and more and more excited. 

I worked friday and saturday for the anniversary sale and it was crazy!!! Well, friday was fairly calm. I actually got to leave work early, which gave me the opportunity to attend the temple with Richard and friends friday night. That within itself made my weekend...

However, saturday was crazy busy at Nordstrom. I got complimented from a 55 year old man (guesstimate) telling me that i was "smokin hot"....uhhhh thanks? 

I also had a french man explain to me how the U.S. learned to french kiss...no need for details there, all i really wanted from him was his phone number and zip for an alteration slip...but hey that's ok.

as i was getting grumpy around 3 pm wishing i was at home, greeting the cousins, i got a sweet surprise! JR and Laura came walking up, in all their glory, to my department! Thank you guys! this made my day.

Eventually, 6 o'clock came around and i was headed home! Driving a little too fast, but couldn't wait to see the kids and Kelly/Dave. 

The night ended with dinner and Richard...yes, he finally met Dave...oh boy. need i say more? 

we got the "good touch, bad touch" conversation, poor us right? 

{long story short}it has been a great weekend and I am excited for what this week will bring.
