the great state of texas

Texas has been too much fun! I love this family soo much, Elsa is a mini-me, and Dave/Kelly are the best. (well, mostly just kelly ;) i can't believe how much they have all grown up. Elsa is so tall now, with gorgeous long long hair (im jealous since i cant seem to grow my hair any longer!) Drew isnt a little boy anymore and has the funniest conversastions with you. He told me yesterday how to correctly execute certain moves in Deadliest Warrior (a video game) how to properly win the game...(it was like being with richard :) ha ha i captured this conversastion on video & will post when i get home.
Jake and Nick are all grown up too! They are teenagers, which makes me feel old. I never realized why people would say "you growing up makes me feel older" but now, i think i finally understand that statement.

Yesterday, Elsa and i started the day out right at the spa. We got manicures and pedicures, then headed to lunch at RUDYS with the whole gang (mmmm my favorite...only in texas do you go to a BBQ place that is located in the back of a gas station, sweet) after getting the car washed (yes dad, dave actually washed the car wash)  we made our way home....but not to Drew and Elsa's protest. They were able to convince "Daddy" to take them to yoghurt planet (yum) so off we went. i love yoghurt.  Elsa and I stayed at the mall and shopped for a couple hours. She is the best shopping buddy. you ask her if something is cute and she replies "totally cute" or "oh super cute" (half the time, i don't think she even looked at the clothes i presented ha ha) however, at times, she wasn't all hip on the clothes i was picking out and would make sure her strict opinion was heard. oh how i love her so.

today, were hitting up Chewy's, a divine mexican restaurant that is my favorite, running some errands, and I think Elsa and I are going to Pirates of the Carribean (she is determined to watch the "scary parts") it should be a fabulous day.
