(geesh, she is so tall!)
There is so much to be thankful for. I have to take this time to let my friends know how much I have appreciated them being by my side this past week...it's been a little rough. and I cannot thank them enough for the countless phone calls, uplifting pep talks, and letting me be connected at there hip. Sammie and I had an eventful weekend. I freaking love that girl! We went and saw Water for Elephants, I have mixed feelings about that movie. Reese Witherspoon did a wonderful job, and yes, Robert Pattinson wasn't too bad to look at either, but animal abuse was a huge part of the movie....that didn't sit well with me. I would recommend the movie, but animal lovers...BEWARE.
Friday night, Sammie and I, went undercover as Covert Underage Buyers of Alcohol for the Tooele Police Department. THIS. was. EPIC. We had too much fun. We got 5 sales and 3 referrals (meaning their alcohol licenses' would be revoked) We had a great time with the police men and by the end of the night we were calling them all "Dad".....it was lovely. I was so happy to have had the experience. It was so empowering and I admire the police department for doing what they are doing. The cops were explaining to us the purpose and told us horror stories about underage drinkers being killed in car crashes.
As for today, I am enjoying time in st. george :) muzz and I headed down early this morning, did a little shopping, laid by the pool, went for rides in the ranger, and now I am taking in every moment of laying in my oh so cute room, blogging, listening to my music and bracing myself until its time to go to bed. it will be divine.
I needed a little weekend getaway and can't wait to return back to SLC on sunday, rejuvenated and ready for the Spring Fling All Breed show on thursday!
Bambi and I will be riding Thursday and Friday, possibly Saturday night, if anyone wants deets, let me know! Storm gets a vacation and doesn't have to go ;) rest up storm, Denver is only a month away!
These past couple days, I have finally realized what Muzz & Dad have always said to me (yes, they are right) to be so true. things really do always work out. no matter how crazy or out of control things may get, whats meant to be will happen.. you just have to let it all take place. doubting not and fearing not, cause there's a plan.
i guess you are a pretty wise woman and man after all :)
i love you both.
and i end with Audrey.
she couldn't have said it any better:
