what an amazing experience. i am so grateful i was given the oppurtunity to attend youth nationals in albequerque new mexico, with all my friends and trainers.
tiffany royer won national champion in western pleasure.
laura smith did really well in hunter and western pleasure.
jessie, shelby, lizzy, paige, and the huntsman girls all did great. im so proud of them all. i was so grateful to be able to travel down there, support them, and enjoy being with them 24/7. such a blast.
here are some photos. i was there for about 10 days, but didnt take nearly enough photos as i should have.
most of them are of me, shelby and lizzy (surprise, surprise ;)
the three of us rented a golf cart down there to drive around the show grounds because its so crazy big. there are 3 arenas and each within a good 1/2 mile of each other. we had some pretty crazy times in that golf cart. somehow managed to get pulled over almost 6 times because we were disobeying the rules, got the keys taken away, and soon after, getting them back by working our charm....water balloon fights and to top it off..someone flying off and gashing the back of there head on the concrete.
epic week, and such a great experience.
hopefully soon enough, i'll be able to compete at the national level..were almost there!
